Global Traffic Management
Global Traffic Management enables services to be deployed in multiple data centres, improving both availability and performance.
In the event of an outage affecting a data centre, services continue to function at alternative locations and users are directed to the most suitable data centre for their request.
The managed service continuously monitors performance and provides a more intelligent way to respond to DNS queries by distributing end user application requests based on data centre availability, network conditions and application performance.
Dedicated Global Traffic Management
The dedicated Global Traffic Management service provides the complete feature set and flexibility for configuration, allowing the service to be tailored for the specific solution and without restrictions from changes which could affect other users. GTMs can be deployed in a wide range of locations across the Interoute footprint, moving services closer to end users.
Virtual Global Traffic Management
The virtual Global Traffic Management service provides a lower cost solution for customers to fully benefit from multi-site infrastructures. This service provides the features and functionality of dedicated GTM service, but from an “in the cloud” shared platform.
