Kwik Fit Insurance Services was formed in 1995 and has grown rapidly to become one of the UK’s leading car insurance distributers. Initially providing car insurance to Kwik-Fit tyre and exhaust repair customers, it expanded its product range to include a host of personal insurance offerings including home, van and bike insurance as well as vehicle breakdown cover. Today, customers hold over one million products with Kwik Fit Insurance Services. In 2010 the company was acquired by Ageas, an International insurance group of significant scale, and now forms a key part of the Ageas Retail business.

We worked with Kwik Fit Insurance Services to migrate its IT environment from a dedicated physical platform run from a single datacentre to Interoute Application Management cloud.  The new solution supports its business critical applications by expanding its architecture from 7 servers to 25 servers. Following this successful migration Kwik Fit Insurance Services opted to also migrate its e-commerce site to Interoute hosting services.
