Wavelength

When you connect to the Interoute network, you are connecting to a network like no other used by just about every incumbent telco in Europe. Built from the ground up as a stand-alone network, It comprises of more than 55,000 km of lit fibre, spans 100 cities, 29 countries, 21 Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN) and comprises over 200 Points of Presence.

Utilising G.655 fibre at its base, it is a network built for today's carrier-class optical DWDM requirements.

Rapidly delivered high bandwidth connections - Interoute Wavelength

Our comprehensive Wavelengths service gives you connectivity access to Europe's major and emerging business centres.  It covers all key Western European cities and it encompasses the all the major Eastern European business centres, connecting Europe to New York and most of the Gulf States in the Middle East.

Our wavelengths service provides rapidly delivered high bandwidth connections to more cities than any other carrier, and connects directly to a large number of carrier hotels across our broad European footprint; currently the densest and fastest growing network in Europe.

The technology supporting the network has been designed to excel within the rapidly evolving telecommunications environment. Using existing carrier-class technologies such Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) and the latest photonic integrated circuits, the network is designed to complement future optical technologies, as well as higher service layers.

  • Scalability from 2.5Gbps to multiple 10Gbps Circuits;
  • 10 day delivery time for 10Gbps circuits can be obtained
  • Superior carrier class telemetry/service indicators to pre-empt service interruptions and pro-actively prevent service outages
  • diversely routed wavelengths
  • 10G LAN PHY and WAN PHY wavelengths are available as part of the Ethernet Service
  • Wavelengths are normally provisioned as an unprotected service
  • Limited protected wavelengths are available upon request
  • Target availability of up to 99.5% for unprotected bandwidth
